DSP Automation announces a high performance matched servo drive and servomotor for machine tool cutting applications.

DSP Automation is a design and manufacturing company of high performance servo drives for robotics and automation. We are now announcing our entrance into the CNC machine tool cutting industry. We are offering our digital servo drives matched with a high inertia servomotor. The servomotor comes standard with a 22-bit serial encoder.
The DSP Automation advantage goes beyond 0.1 rpm low speed performance. We also offer EtherCAT as the high performance network (distributed) solution. EtherCAT is available in all of our digital servo drives. The EtherCAT technology overcomes the system limitations of other Ethernet solutions. The communication with 100 servo axes only takes 100 µs. During this time, all axes are provided with set values and control data and report their actual position and status. The distributed clock technique enables the axes to be synchronized with a deviation of significantly less than 1 microsecond. EtherCAT can control the current and velocity loops in distributed systems.
Our solutions are extremely cost effective, come in a small package, and reliable.
